About Weaver's of Wellsville

Ken Weaver Meats, Inc. also known as Weaver’s of Wellsville, has operated continuously since 1889. Its existence began as a small hometown butcher shop across the street from the current facility. Founded by Jacob Weaver, it was passed to his sons Martin and Rich, to Martin’s sons Kenneth and Walter, to Kenneth’s sons Jack and Craig and is currently owned and operated by Craig and his sons Cole and Seth. As business grew, the Weaver family began selling a variety of bolognas and sausages smoked in our old-fashioned outdoor smokehouses. The demand for these products in various markets led to Weaver’s expanding into food distribution. Using the delivery network established for Weaver’s of Wellsville’s products, different refrigerated and frozen items were added to the trucks. Beginning with fresh meats and deli meats, we have continued to expand our product line to offer a wide range of items used in all departments of grocery stores and food service facilities. Weaver’s production department is also constantly expanding. While the core of that business is in our own bolognas and sausages, we also provide private label products for several distributors and stores. The flavors of our products largely reflect our Pennsylvania Dutch heritage, but we are always looking for new markets to enter through innovative flavors and products.
