WEERULIN develops and produces refractory products for the steel industry. We offer a full range of shaped and unshaped products. WEERULIN offers refractory solutions from the completely fireproof monolithic raw material mix up to the fully assembled vacuum snorkel with integrated argon gas pipes. Our philosophy: We supply refractory concepts, tailor-made to the individual customer’s demands. We recognise that every steel mill is unique. Each plant needs an individual solution – and this must be innovative and cost efficient. Our customers and we communicate in a very tight, partnerlike dialogue. In a joint team we identify the aggregate’s requirements. On the basis of our proven produt lines we develop tailor-made refractory solutions. This way, WEERULIN has – up to date – developed over 3,500 different refractory recipes. WEERULIN has more than 50 years experience in the production of refractory materials. Our raw material mixes are produced on state-of-the-art, fully automatic production equipment. Our production sites in Mülheim and Essen are located right in the heart of Germany’s steel industry. WEERULIN is a family business. The company is run in the third generation by Robert and Richard Fechner.
