About WeHelp NOLA

Founded in 2019, WeHelp NOLA is a locally owned and operated organization providing no-cost mental healthcare and wellness services to hospitality industry workers in New Orleans and throughout Louisiana. Due to high-stress conditions and lack of accessible resources, the hospitality industry has significantly higher rates of mental health issues, such as suicidal ideation, depression, and anxiety. These issues are not isolated—they are systemic. WeHelp NOLA exists to meet this critical need, providing life saving care for hospitality workers in Louisiana. WeHelp offers no-cost psychotherapy sessions with a diverse database of licensed clinicians, both in person and online. Our innovative membership program structures services through partnerships with hospitality venues whose owners pay an inexpensive monthly membership fee. Through venue membership, the entire staff has access to all of our services, at no cost to the employee. WeHelp also offers referral resources for low cost psychiatry, in/out patient treatment, and substance abuse programs to our clients. These services are heavily utilized and are necessary resources for an industry where mental health needs and substance abuse rates are extremely prevalent. As of September 2025, WeHelp NOLA has partnered with over 75 hospitality venues and provided over 7,200 free therapy sessions to hospitality industry workers in Louisiana. WeHelp has built a platform enabling hospitality employers to provide their teams with tangible solutions to the mental healthcare crisis within the industry. By addressing the stigma surrounding mental health and facilitating care, we can improve the livelihood and sustainability of the hospitality industry and its constituents.
