Welcome Home Military Heroes is a veteran-founded nonprofit organization based on California’s Central Coast, dedicated to honoring and supporting those who’ve served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Since our founding in 2007, we’ve grown into a volunteer-powered movement driven by patriotism, gratitude, and community action. Our mission is simple: to ensure no military hero is ever forgotten. Whether it’s a warm welcome home from deployment, a final salute at a veteran’s funeral, or delivering holiday support to struggling military families, our commitment is to be there — in moments that matter most. We operate through nine year-round programs: Operation Welcome Home Operation Flag Line Operation Veteran in Need Operation Holiday Tree Operation Last Salute Operation Care Packages Operation Education (Scholarships) Operation American Flag (Flag Replacement) Operation Veteran Vehicle Salutes Every mission is fueled by volunteers, local businesses, and community members who believe in giving back to those who gave everything. 100% of donations stay local and directly support veterans, active-duty service members, and their families in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.
