About WellBuilt Cities (aka The Well)

The Well is both a company and a community. The company is a 501c3 public charity that is investing in community development and working to see needs met, bridges built, and our city made whole. This company emerged out of the community that has been working to embody their faith, love their neighbors, and walk with as well as learn from the poor in our city. We invite people, all people to join us at our table. For those without food and basic necessities we say come and eat. To those without relationships with the poor we say come and listen. It is at this common table where we, all of us, are healed. Our stories and pain are shared just as our food is. Our prejudices and fears are overcome just as our hunger is. It is at this table that our vision of the future is rehearsed. In an attempt to cultivate human freedom and flourishing, we aim to build and incubate interdependent communities, prioritizing how we can each take personal responsibility toward contributing solutions. We pray that our commitment and industriousness be the evidence of our faith, our hopes, and our deepest convictions. If you want to know what we believe, watch what it is that we do. It’s easy to say that we are Christian, but any genuine belief or true ethic is revealed in action, embodied in the work that we spend ourselves on. Call it entrepreneurship, apostolic mission, artistic endeavor, or public service, our intention is to invest our creative energies into rehearsing our vision for a #WellBuiltCity
