About WellMind Clinic
WellMind is a woman-owned outpatient mental health practice that offers a variety of research-based psychological services for individuals, couples, co-parents, engaged fiances, and families. We are established and directed by a female multi-lingual Arab-American licensed clinician, who not only is the first to graduate college in her family, but also founded her practice originally in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. She hails from a blended upbringing in Oakland and Berkeley, California and attended undergraduate and graduate school in San Francisco and Berkeley. Our director of clinical services, Graciela Yasmín Pacheco, M.A., MFT is dual-state licensed in California (CA LMFT Lic. #90751) and Nevada (NV LMFT Lic.# 4352-R) and operate primarily out of our headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada. We offer all services fluently in Spanish and English, and have live translation easily available for those who speak additional languages using live Google Translate technology. Individual Therapy Our specialty in individual psychological treatment is in the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) with advanced skill in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). We are particularly experienced with trauma-based issues around psychological abuse, codependency, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, and other issues largely stemming from traumatic experiences. Couples Therapy We also offer best practices in relationship and couples therapy to reduce conflict, rebuild trust after a betrayal, improve boundaries with in-laws and friends, increase communication quality, promote sexual satisfaction, and set couples up for long-term stability. LGBTQ Services We provide support with coming out of the closet as gay or transgender/gender diverse, queer couples therapy, and culturally sensitive family therapy for queer individuals experiencing conflict with religious families. We are trained in writing Clinical Letters for Gender Affirming Medical Care.
