Wells Manufacturing started as a booming toy factory, making quality toys and spreading joy nationwide. In 2004, China moved to undercut U.S. production, leaving manufacturing companies struggling to compete with cheap materials and labor. The results were devasting. Manufacturing plants, once filled with hard work and laughter, were abandoned. Communities like New Vienna, Ohio, were left with unemployed workers. Wells Manufacturing stayed alive, but not without wounds. Under new ownership, the lights stayed on. They spent resources and long nights salvaging Well's potential. The machines remained solid and capable. One of the last original workers stayed on in hopes of a revival. It took over a decade of innovation and grit, but Wells fought against China's attempt to dominate manufacturing. Today, Wells is successfully manufacturing and breathing life back into USA-made products. The Well's worker who stayed on board is now the director of operations, overseeing multiple product divisions. Wells found a way to climb back to the top by tapping into its legacy of quality manufacturing and pairing it with the needs of today's market. Wells product divisions are thriving, yet there will be no letting up. China will make another takedown attempt in the future. Rainbow Mulch provides a non-toxic, tire-free rubber surfacing solutions to families and organizations across the country. It is the only rubber surface that is 100% recycled material free and California Proposition 65 complaint. It's most popular for it's superior fall protection, non-toxic, worry-free formula and colorant, modern aesthetic, and outdoor durability. Rainbow Mulch is ASTM safety tested at 3" depth for a 20 ft. critical fall height (safety test ASTM F1292-22). ASTM provides the certifications and testing for national playground standards.
