We are a family owned and operated medical practice dedicated to easing the suffering from physical and emotional pain. Our clinic began as Pain Management Medicine in 1992 by an anesthesiologist and a psychiatrist, a husband and wife team. At the time, pain management was still a novel field in medicine and Pain Management Medicine was one of the first multi-disciplinary practices in Kentucky solely dedicated to the science of pain management. Since its inception, our practice has undergone many changes (including re-branding), but our goal of enhancing the health of our patients remains the same. Wellward is more than a clinic - it’s a new way to think about your health. Modern medicine is often focused on treating symptoms and forgets about the disease. This often translates to aggressive surgery or layering medicine upon more medicine since each has its own side effects and risks. At Wellward, we believe bodies were built to heal.
