WESPA (World Elite Sports Performance Academy) is an organisation that delivers “non-sport specific” world-class performance training to young athletes, as they bid to improve their physical and mental conditioning to international and world class standards. Working in conjunction with local government, schools, clubs and recognised UK sporting agencies, WESPA aims to award fully funded scholarships to young “gifted & talented” athletes throughout the UK (12-18 years of age) that possess international/world class sporting potential. The added uniqueness to WESPA Scholarship programmes are that they are all delivered locally, totally removing time intensive and costly travelling logistics after and before school. The WESPA way ensures a perfect balance between performance training, education and social. Achieving optimum results across key areas including fitness, power, speed, endurance, physical & mental strength, nutrition, lifestyle and medical will give WESPA athletes that dynamic competitive winning edge. WESPA wholly understands the critical importance of identifying and developing raw sporting talent at primary (WESPA Primary) and early secondary school ages, in order to compete and win on the world stage.
