About Wessels & Liebau

We are a law office in Mequon, Wisconsin focusing on elder law, estate planning, probate, special needs planning, Medicaid, long term care planning, special needs trusts, guardianship, and representing victims of financial elder abuse. We primarily serve clients in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Washington, and Sheboygan counties. However, we have a statewide caseload. We consult with personal injury attorneys around Wisconsin regarding special needs trusts and Medicare Set Aside arrangements. We also offer professional mediation services as trained mediators in dementia care and elder related issues. We strive to provide the highest level of technical expertise in the areas of law we practice, but in an approachable way for our clients. Many of our clients are experiencing the worst event of their lives, and need guidance on how to get through it. Other clients simply want to plan for their families in an intentional way. Whatever the goal, we bring our own personal and professional experiences to the way we practice law. We believe very strongly in investing in our community, and therefore we volunteer with, and financially support, multiple organizations that are doing great work in the areas of elder law and special needs planning.
