About West Bay RI

West Bay RI (formerly known as West Bay Residential Services) is private, non-profit organization with a 39-year history offering an array of support services with an innovative approach to achieving whole life supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in partnership with the people they support, their families and allies. Our mission is to provide innovative, person-centered supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in ways that promote community inclusion, personal power, self-expression and life fulfillment. Incorporated in 1981, we are a multi-service agency that serves more than 200 people who live with I/DD. Our main office is located just south of Providence, Rhode Island. West Bay is governed by a Board of Directors and employs more than 450 people. We provide supports to people throughout the State of Rhode Island. We offer a variety of life options to people including: Customized and Self Employment, Community-Based Day Supports, Residential Living, Supported Living, Shared Living, Shared Supports, Community Supports and Transition to Work Services for Transitioning Youth.
