The mission of West End House is to inspire and enable youth of all backgrounds, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive and responsible citizens. West End House is an innovative and vibrant youth development agency that provides outcomes-driven programs to more than 1,600 youth ages 7 to 24 residing in Boston's most under resourced neighborhoods. Our high-impact programs, delivered by a dynamic team of professional staff and volunteers, provide opportunities in critical areas of youth development, ensuring that young people are succeeding academically from first grade through college completion, exploring and mastering the arts, adopting healthy lifestyles, and developing leadership and career readiness skills. We provide targeted college readiness and college persistence coaching to ensure that our young people are applying to, enrolling in, and persisting through college, and positioned for long-term academic and career achievement. West End House is the only Boys & Girls Club in the Northeast region with dedicated college persistence staff, and we now support 250 West End House alumni with individualized and small-group coaching on-campus and remotely as they pursue their post-secondary degree.
