For more than 62 years West Georgia Eye Care Center has been serving the Columbus community with exceptional eye care & LASIK. Dr. Floyd C. Jarrell, Jr. established the practice in 1951 as a solo practice. The clinic has since grown to the area's only multi-specialty eye care practice, to include nine ophthalmologists, one optometrist and a staff of over 85 people. Among the sub-specialties represented in the practice are two fellowship trained cornea and refractive surgeons, a fellowship trained retina specialist, a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist, and a fellowship trained oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeon.
