About WESTEP

We are We Step, an independent Italian consultancy firm serving the packaging industry. From one-off projects to long-term strategic partnerships, we help brands take full advantage of the benefits of better packaging. With more than 25 years experience as advisors to the packaging sector and hundreds of projects completed around the world, we understand the packaging market across the entire value chain and service companies from design concept to production run. The company was founded in 2019 by three partners who are still involved in the daily activities and strategic decisions. We are a multidisciplinary team of designers, material experts, stretch-blow molding technicians who work in synergy in the various stages of creation and development of PET containers. Our team has 20 years experience in the packaging development with a library of over 5000 projects ranging from small sizes up to 30 L. We design Our design team helps clients around the world to create optimal solutions that make a great first impression while improving efficiency. We engineer Our team of packaging engineering specialists takes a holistic approach to create seamless transitions, carrying products from prototype to market. We prototype Prototypes are important to check the structural integrity of the design and to ensure that design meets the marketing needs. They also help assess the visual impact of a new packaging and allow manufacturers to choose the best one from multiple options. Rapid prototyping turns design concepts into concrete models to allow client to feel the real container. Based on client’s chosen containers, we start to design the mold.With our single cavity machines, our engineers will initially test the blowing process. We test Bottles are tested according to the standard required specification and with additional non standard tests if required by the application.
