About Western Anesthesiology Associates
Western Anesthesiology is a collegial and established physician-owned practice serving a variety of locations throughout the greater St. Louis region. Our physicians have provided perioperative care for patients at Mercy Hospital-St. Louis in Creve Coeur, at the intersection of I-270 & I-40/64, for over 50 years. More recently, we've expanded to include Mercy Hospital-Washington, Mercy Hospital-Lincoln, 9 local ambulatory surgery centers, three pain management offices, and a robust mobile anesthesiology division offering office-based anesthesia. Due to expansion into new facilities and continued growth, we're looking for physicians to join our team of nearly 70 board-certified anesthesiologists and 100 anesthetists. We're seeking full-time, part-time, and per diem physicians; and residents and fellows are encouraged to apply. The call schedule is flexible. Mercy Hospital-St. Louis is a CMS Five-Star Hospital, a Top 100 Hospital by IBM Watson Health, a Top 50 Hospital by Newsweek, & a Leapfrog Straight A Hospital 20 consecutive times; Mercy-Washington has been honored with several accolades as well. The diversity of programs include general surgery such as robotics, reconstructive, bariatric, and thoracic surgery; pediatric surgery including ENT, plastics, urology orthopedics, and general surgery; state-of-the-art I.R. and endoscopy suites; cardiovascular procedures including an award-winning structural heart program, valvular and coronary bypass surgery, & open and endovascular aortic surgery; and a flourishing regional anesthesia and acute pain service.
