Westmark - decades of production experience In 1956 Hubert Deimel founds the 'Hubert Deimel Haushaltwarenfabrik'. The 'Famos' potato peeler is manufactured and sold. The product is a sales hit and forms the basis for further successful development. Today the company is called Westmark GmbH and offers about 2,500 products. As a specialised and consistent partner of the trade, Westmark offers a large portfolio of cleverly practical kitchen helpers and household goods. All products are functional, reliable and durable. Core competences are manual kitchen gadgets in the areas of peeling, cutting, dividing, preparing and serving food, preserving, baking, enjoying food, gift articles, baskets and placemats. What drives Westmark: 'We believe that everyone should prepare their food themselves and that as simply and effortlessly as possible. A large part of the turnover is made with articles that come from the company's own manufacturing. Production takes place at the headquarters in Lennestadt-Elspe in South Westphalia and - with a small unit of specialists - at the second location in Wittelsberg, near Marburg.
