About Weston Park Cancer Charity
Weston Park Cancer Charity raises funds to support cancer research, improve cancer treatment services and provide care and support for cancer patients and their families. Our region of South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire has a population of 1.8 million, and with 10,000 people diagnosed with cancer each year, we are dedicated to supporting people to live well during and after treatment. Weston Park’s research is recognised internationally and our purpose-built Clinical Trials Unit gives patients access to ground-breaking new treatments not available on the NHS. And that’s not all – we also fund projects offering emotional support, practical help and quality care, over and above the services provided by the NHS. All this is done to support our ultimate mission to give people living with cancer more quality time with their loved ones and help keep more families together for longer.
