About Westport Writers Workshop I Inc
We offer over 75 workshops a year for writers of all skill levels and genres. To suit your schedule, you can participate in workshops in the morning, afternoon and evening. We also host several Saturday-only workshops and one-week writing intensive programs throughout the year. Since 2003, we have been offering workshops for every level of writer, from novice to published! We offer friendly, supportive writing workshops designed to encourage, inspire, and spark your imagination. We help you discover and develop your own unique writing talent and voice. Focus is always on the quality of the writing – not on the subject matter. While sharing your work, you will receive input on what others thought of the writing; what was strong and memorable about the piece. Keep in mind that, while encouraged, sharing is always optional.
