About Westside Christian Academy
Westside Christian Academy is an inter-denominational classical and Christian school with a Grammar School for Pre-K-6 and an Upper School for Grade 7 through 12 in Cleveland’s western suburb of Westlake. Partnering with Christian parents, Westside Christian Academy equips students with a Biblically integrated, academically excellent, classical education so that they engage the world with the truth of the gospel and the love of Christ, near and far, across generations. We partner with Christian parents in raising their children "in training and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4) Using a classical curriculum and methodologies, our academic program includes a strong emphasis on grammar, logic, rhetoric and Latin as well as history, science, mathematics and the arts. Through a lens of a Biblical worldview grounded in the Old and New Testament Scriptures, we teach children to think and learn for a lifetime, cultivate Biblical character and leadership, and strive to shepherd a child’s heart, not just behavior. The student-teacher ratio is favorable with class sizes that average 16. WCA is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and The Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS). We were also proud to be recognized as one of the top 20 schools in the Classical Learning Test (CLT) list of top schools in 2024.
