About Wfu Ypo

YPO was founded to provide first-year students with the preprofessional development and support they need to achieve their career goals. The organization seeks to develop first-year students through resume building, interview prep, network development, leadership training and employer engagement. We plan on using resources such as the OPCD, WFU Business School, Employer Relations, Guest Speakers and Alumni Connections to develop our members. Our members will receive access to mentorship and the resources that they need in order to reach their goals. In turn, we hope to build a diverse community of bright ambitious and hard-working professionals who will be each other’s lifelong network. Being apart of the program will also eventually open the door to being a mentor for future students, demonstrating the leadership and skills that you have gained along the way.
