About WHAG
WHAG is a charity that was founded in 1981 to offer housing and support to vulnerable homeless women in Rochdale. Over time, our work has expanded to include specialist domestic abuse services for people of all genders, their children and some pets, and young parent services across the North West of England. We offer a high quality and valuable service to vulnerable women experiencing homelessness with multiple unmet needs, and young families in Rochdale, and work with people fleeing domestic abuse in Wigan, Cheshire West and Chester. UP is WHAG's training brand that deliver training programmes and work policies to groups and organisations to prevent abusive relationships. Training programmes include domestic abuse awareness (for employees or HR manager and leaders), healthy relationships (for adults or young people), and train the trainer programmes.
