A Great Idea...from our family to yours Does this story sound familiar? I was a working mother in a busy household with a husband, two active children, six cats and two dogs--living just outside of Dallas in Richardson, Texas. I never knew what to cook, dreaded going to the grocery store, and always felt awful about how much food and money was going to waste on groceries we didn’t even eat. And even when I did figure out what meals to prepare, my spare time was constantly consumed by quick return trips to the store. My complaints grew louder. My exasperation grew more intense. Fortunately, my husband came up with a solution. He wrote a software program that automatically generated menus so that, finally, dinner was the last thing I had to think about every morning. The program worked so well for our family, we wondered if it might help others. And as we talked to other working couples, we found many of them had the same issues. They were either tired of cooking the same things over and over, or ended up eating fast food because they never had anything planned, or even worse cereal and popcorn for dinner. The inspiration for What’s for Dinner was born. My husband, Paul, went to work to commercialize his program with more robust features to make it the easiest, best way to plan meals, save time, save money and eat healthy. And that’s our promise to you.
