Wheatsville Food Co-Op is locally known as the friendliest store in town! Founded in 1976, our store was created with our customers in mind. We are dedicated to providing local, organic, and TASTY produce to all our shoppers. With our very own kitchen in store, we provide made-on-demand beverages, sandwiches, smoothies, as well as all baked goods. Fresh bread, fresh pastries, and fresh smiles are what greets all our shoppers as they come in to buy their groceries. Our purpose is to create a self-reliant, self-empowering community of people that will grow and promote a transformation of society toward cooperation, justice, and non-exploitation.
