Wheelchair Basketball Australia's (WBA) purpose is to drive the prosperity of Australia’s premier wheelchair basketball competitions, the National Wheelchair Basketball League (NWBL) and the Women's National Wheelchair Basketball League (WNWBL). WBA, with the endorsement of Basketball Australia, administers the men’s and women’s national leagues including scheduling, competition rules, travel arrangements and commercial opportunities. National league plays an important role in pathway for wheelchair basketball from beginner through to international honours. Players who compete in the NWBL & WNWBL can go on to represent Australia for the Rollers (Men's), Gliders (Women's), Spinners (Men's U23) and Devils (Women's Under 25) at Paralympics, World Championships and Junior World Championships.
