Wheelies is a family owned and operated full service bicycle repair shop located in Medford, NJ. Larry, the owner, has lived in the Medford area for nearly his entire life. Starting with bicycles in the early 70s at AJ’s Bike shop in Medford, Larry has been working with bicycles since the days of Stingrays, 10 speeds, and banana seats. He has seen and worked with the changes in the bicycle industry over the years and has watched the advent of the mountain bike, BMX, and hybrid bicycles. Working with bicycles led Larry to work for individuals and companies such as Mario Andretti, Paul Newman, Jiffy Lube, and AAA. Keeping close to his roots, he continued to stay active in the bicycle repair industry as the go-to guy for friends and family. As the repair list grew so did Larry’s passion for bicycles and in 2004, Wheelies LLC was formed. For several years, Larry worked solely out of his house, offering a pick-up and delivery service for nearby areas to help those who couldn’t transport their own bicycles. Finally, with his house over run with bikes, Wheelies opened a storefront on Route 70 in Medford. Still committed to giving the personalized customer service he offered while working out of his house, Wheelies expanded to include not only repairs, but also a showroom of new quality bikes from Jamis and Bianchi, as well as carrying a full line of bicycle components and accessories from top manufacturers such as Shimano, Campagnolo, and Sram. Wheelies is dedicated to building quality and integrity with each customer through the bicycle service industry and promoting the quality of bicycles to the betterment of mankind, womankind, and the environment.
