Set In Steel is able to complete the entire project from design and formation, to construction of a high quality custom crafted piece engineered for a lifetime of use. Extensive research of traditional concrete products enabled us to move to a newer lightweight form of Glass-Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) and Engineered Cementitious Concrete (ECC), both of which are lighter, more durable and adaptable for a multitude of designs. GFRC and ECC polished concrete have been around for over 30 years, however it is seen as a new product in many circles. We have found that we can be more creative using this product due to its ease of handling and the high degree of craft ability. Our polished concrete is both flexible in its scope of use as well as being unlimited by size which are both favourable factors in its design possibilities. This means that we can deliver better outcomes than other stone products such as overall size, shape and finish.
