WVST empowers US Military Service Members, Veterans, Family Members, Supporting Caregivers, and Gold Star Families to overcome the inherent hardships and challenges of military service. By providing physically and emotionally challenging activities, we strive to build meaningful relationships that advance interpersonal development, healing, growth and resiliency. Implementing the Mission: -- Dedicated to providing support and new beginnings for injured veterans, active-duty personnel, families and caregivers -- Small group of local residents, all volunteers, conduct winter and summer retreats and support local veteran-focused organizations -- Retreats combine Montana fun activities and opportunities to work on issues related to re-entry to civilian life -- Gold Star Retreats provide an environment to increase self-identity, empowerment and resiliency
