About Why Not City Missions
Why Not City Missions has been providing services to at-risk and street youth in downtown Brantford since 2002. Why Not's focus is on social development, mentorship, skill-building, and promoting self-esteem. Our success stories describe lives where hope has been inspired despite the difficult upbringings for these individuals. Small victories speak volumes. When we target the young people who fall through the cracks, we encounter youth who face challenges from lifestyles of crime to addictions to chronic homelessness to prostitution. There is no one size fits all solution. We at Why Not get to know all of our youth on an individual basis. We encourage them in their skills, we help them through conflict resolution, we connect them with any resources they might need, and maintain a relationship with them that lasts for years. Now, with 3 locations (including 2 housing programs) Why Not City Missions is extremely grateful for all of our community partners, volunteers, supporters, and friends.
