Whyte & Barrie is one of Lanarkshire's largest independent firm of Chartered Surveyors. We offer a wide range of property services including Home Reports. We also transact a significant number of Commercial Property deals on behalf of our clients and our Web Database offers over 100 properties available for sale or let at any given time. Established in 1947 we are celebrating our 70th Anniversary in 2017 having advanced greatly from our modest beginnings in the County Town of Lanark. The business started life as a Surveying & Architectural Services Partnership but in 1974 the company expanded into Valuation Practice and is now a multi-disciplined business that has developed from one office with two partners into an incorporated multi Director Company with several divisions. Services Our professional services embrace all aspects of General Practice Surveying with specialist advice available on a wide range of property matters. We have one of the most active Commercial Property Agencies operating in Central Scotland with many plc and multi-national companies amongst our client base. Our long-standing business relationship with all of the major lending institutions, corporate clients and our record of repeat business is testament to the quality of service we provide. Quality Assurance Whyte & Barrie are a Quality Assured Firm adhering to the requirements of ISO 9002, which was successfully obtained by the company on 30th April 1998. We have a Partner responsible for the Quality Assurance System who arranges for periodic systematic checks or internal audits, to be made in addition to our compulsory external audits.
