About Wicked Cool for Kids

Wicked Cool for Kids specializes in on-site customized enrichment programs in science, engineering, robotics and art. Our clients are currently located in eastern Massachusetts exclusively, although we plan to expand our base in coming seasons. Our clients range from recreation departments and community education departments, to schools and PTOs. We offer complete solutions that extend learning past the end of the school day and the school year. We offer haul-in/haul out, leave no trace, soup-to-nuts hands-on programs that challenge kids to investigate their world through science and art. We offer a wide selection of after-school programs that are available year round, and add new topics every season. Whether our clients are new or long-standing, they can always find something fresh to offer their kids. Our after-school programs typically stand apart from other activities, but can also be integrated into the school day and extended day programs. We meet once a week for six to eight weeks For summer 2013 there is a selection of nine different Wicked Cool programs to choose from. Summer programs are offered in a full and/or half-day format over complete weeks. We offer up to four hours of science-focused activities each day, which are complemented by free-choice activities and outside play. Last year, 80% of our summer staff were certified classroom teachers. Summer doesn't have to be all about forgetting - kids love to learn.
