Wicket is a startup created to solve the problem of secondary ticketing in the live events industry, bringing in to the italian market a fully digital ticketing solution based on blockchain technology. Our solution links the ticket with the mobile number of the buyer, while the blockchain tracks and make impossible to change the information within the ticket: thanks to this, tickets frauds are simply impossible with Wicket. The purchasing process is extremely simple and intuitive: buyers need to authenticate on the website platform, select the event and buy the tickets. Digital tickets will be available within Wicket App: from the app, each buyer can resell them through the platform or share in a group with friends. Event organizers have the possibility to monitor in real time the state of their event and to communicate, directly with their clients, important info about the event such as how to enter the venue to avoid people crowding. Wicket, in response to Covid-19 has adapted its solution from a ticketing one to an entrance management system, in order to avoid gatherings and to give a powerful instruments in the hands of those who need to manage the flows of people. We believe our platform is particularly valuable for Museums, Theatres, Stadiums and Offices. Being a digital app it is very easy to integrate contact tracing apps, like Immuni for Italy.
