About Wiegel Machinery

Wiegel Machinery was founded in 2025 with a focused mission: to sell surplus equipment from our sister company, Wiegel Tool Works (dba Wiegel). Over 20 years ago, a family friend took me under his wing one summer and introduced me to CNC machine tools. I was hooked from the start. Since then, I’ve spent my career researching, sourcing, and acquiring a wide range of industrial equipment. Over the years, I’ve worked with both end users and dealers. One question I often asked dealers was, “What would you offer for this particular piece of equipment?” More often than not, I received no response—despite them being the supposed experts. In many cases, we simply didn’t have enough surplus equipment to justify listing it on a dealer’s site or sending it to auction. That’s what inspired me to launch Wiegel Machinery: to give buyers a chance to make direct offers without the hassle or opacity that sometimes comes with the traditional dealer process.
