The Wilbur family’s roots in California agriculture date back to 1869. Since their arrival in the Sacramento Valley, the members of the Wilbur family have been pioneers in the farming industry. They were one of the first to plant orchards in the fertile soil of the Yuba and Feather River bottoms– today considered the preeminent prune and walnut producing area of the world. Five generations later, the Wilbur Ranch continues to be a leader in California agriculture with over 3,000 acres of prunes and walnuts. The cornerstone of the Wilbur family’s farming philosophy is good stewardship of the land for future generations. Founded in 1992, Wilbur Packing was launched to ensure that our commitment to excellence in food quality and safety is carried through to the end-user. Since its inception, Wilbur Packing has worked diligently to develop loyal customer networks in the domestic market, as well as in Europe and Asia, with buyers who share our commitment to quality. As a custom packer, we offer our customers a wide array of packaging options to meet the diverse needs of our customers, from products packed in bulk to the most sophisticated retail concepts.
