About Wild Alpine
Wild, n. An uncultivated, uninhabited, or desolate region or tract. Back of beyond. Alpine, adj. Resembling or characteristic of any high mountain system, especially one that has been shaped by intense glacial erosion. Soaring, steep, tremendous. Wild Alpine is founded on a mission to provide the highest standard of mountain guiding and wilderness education available in Alaska. We maintain a small, elite staff of mountaineers, skiers and climbers. Each of us is trained and/or certified by accredited institutions including the American Mountain Guides Association. We've dedicated our lives to pursuing our dreams in the mountains and to enabling you to do the same, everyday. We're committed professionals, continually fine-tuning our skills to meet or exceed industry standards. With years of Alaskan backcountry pursuits behind us, we promise to safely lead you on outstanding mountain expeditions. We are uniquely positioned with access to some of the largest wilderness areas on Earth. We host educational courses close to the frontcountry road system, and partner with Alaska's most talented bush pilots and backcountry lodges to provide you with an outstanding range of options. Choosing to make Wild Alpine the architect of your next expedition ensures adventure of epic proportions, no matter what your level of expertise. So join us. Go beyond the heli terrain and beyond your wildest dreams. We welcome you into the kingdom and alongside the keepers of the grandeur.
