Wild Hudson Valley was founded on the premise that sustainability can only be achieved when a society acknowledges the inseparability of humanity with the earth. Our society has become ecologically illiterate - we have lost a deep understanding of the processes and connections that bind all life together and with the physical universe. A return to that understanding and connection - and the subsequent empathy, fascination and fulfillment that comes with regaining one's relationship with the environment - positively impacts both the life of the individual and, ultimately, of humanity and of the planet as a whole. Wild Hudson Valley strives to bring that curiosity and understanding back to humanity, and does so through guided nature walks, canoe tours, and wildcrafting workshops.
