About Wildeman Guitars
Located in Northern Ontario, Canada, I seek to contribute to our country's rich luthiery heritage, which has been led by such giants as Jean Larrivee, Grit Laskin, Linda Manzer, David Wren and Robert Godin with my own unique vision of guitar making. My motto "traditional craftsmanship - modern design" stems from my traditional training under David Freeman in the 1980s, followed by further training under Jiri Kessler, who trained in the 1940s in at Cremona in Czechoslovakia as both a guitar maker and violin maker. I now merge these traditional skills with modern techniques and designs of today.
