About Wilderness Safety Systems
Wilderness Safety Systems (WSS) has been providing quality workplace safety training and services, as well as a host of international certification courses, since 2001. The dynamic nature of wilderness environments make it necessary to have specialized training to address the challenges of this unique context. These specialized courses are taught by leaders in their fields who are currently active in their respective industries. Wilderness Safety Systems specializes in providing quality workplace safety programs. Ranging from our popular Working on Ice™ and Working on Water™ workshops, to evacuation courses, travel prep clinics, wilderness survival courses, anaphylaxis workshops. WSS has more than ten years of experience training employees of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Canadian Geological Society, Hydro One, among others. WSS offers a host of safety support for public or private events, TV shoots, and the film industry. Our Paramedics, Survival specialists, and Guides arrive well equipped and prepared deal with any emergency. WSS offers Wilderness Medical Associates first aid courses and our rescue programs are certified through Raven Rescue/Rescue 3 International. Rescue 3 has been providing quality training courses to outdoor and rescue professionals since the mid '70s.
