WILDLIFE TRUST is a voluntary group of “like-hearted” individuals, who like to be in the wilderness and are keen to share its joys and challenges with others through education. Our mission is to bring a change ….. in perceptions, awareness levels, attitudes and behaviors of people towards wildlife and nature so that humanity does not belittle or eliminate the role and importance of other creations of nature and feels part of the earth as a whole. “We are all children of nature . . . . . ” From our childhood till our end, we are inextricably linked to nature. But, Urban living has created a distance, which prevents us from understanding what nature is. WILDLIFE TRUST will be a way to an unique opportunity for becoming a green citizen. What began as a three member’s team in 2005 and after hard efforts we got our Trust registered under Society Registration Act, 1960 Reg. No: Gujarat/2147/Vadodara and Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 Reg. No: F/1825/Vadodara in the year 2006. Today it’s a family of 150+ from various backgrounds – conservation biologists, scientists, sociologists, wildlife veterinarians, herpetologists, ornithologists, managers, lawyers, businessmen and communication specialists, all committed to the common cause of saving the wildlife and improving nature. We want to inspire people about the natural world so that they value it, understand their relationship with it and take action to protect and restore it. We are people-focused in the way we deliver our work – working with people to improve our environment and quality of life. From a small beginning we will go a long way; the secret behind our growth shall be your esteemed support.
