About Wildly Inclusive Learning Collective
Wildly Inclusive Learning Collective (WILC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Durham, NC, dedicated to inclusive, affirming, and self-directed educational advocacy in all classrooms supporting learners of all ages, abilities, and neurotypes. We believe education should be curiosity-driven and community-rooted. Through innovative programs like the Wildly Inclusive Agile Learning Center (ALC)—one of only three self-directed education programs in the state—we provide a safe and supportive space where neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and other historically marginalized learners are truly seen, valued, and celebrated. WILC also provides advocacy, training, and resources to educators, caregivers, and organizations seeking to make learning environments more inclusive and equitable. Our foundation supports scholarships, educator training, and community events like the Durham German Market, our largest annual fundraiser that brings together over 15,000 attendees to celebrate culture and support inclusive education. At WILC, we’re reimagining education, one learner, one family, one community at a time.
