Dr. Knutson received his Doctorate from the California School of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his surgical residency training at the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program. There he received comprehensive training in foot and ankle surgery and podiatric medicine. He treats all ailments of the foot & ankle and is interested in foot & ankle trauma, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, sports medicine, ankle joint arthritis, and wound care & limb salvage. Dr. Knutson values clear communication with his patients throughout their treatment process. His goal is to help his patients understand their foot & ankle ailments and to work with them to achieve their treatment goals. He approaches the management of any condition by applying evidence-based medicine and a patient-doctor team approach to their treatment plan. Dr. Knutson was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and is so pleased to be back. During his free time, he loves spending time with his wife and three young children. He loves being outside whenever he can and enjoys running, biking, skiing, and climbing.
