About Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation

Our mission is to foster hope and provide quality of life through the support of cancer patients, education and prevention. We provide financial grants to patients and their families while they are undergoing treatment that assist directly with basic need areas such as: rent, mortgage payments, utilities, groceries, medical premium insurance payments, wigs, transportation to and from treatments and other areas. This is provided to alleviate some of the financial strain on patients and to keep them current on their bills, so they can focus on their health. We also provide prevention activities throughout the grade schools, wellness fairs, science nights and skin cancer screenings in the area. Our organization is a unique not-for-profit organization that focuses on providing for basic need areas as well as preventative cancer education and supports three counties in the area: Yamhill, Tillamook and Lincoln Counties. We will evaluate assisting individuals even if they choose to get their cancer care elsewhere as long as they fit our criteria and reside in our area of service. We thrive on community donations, individual contributions and fundraising efforts in our area. We are passionate about providing support in a variety of ways, connecting patients to resources and focusing on quality of life for patients and their families.
