Founded in 1999 by William Asprey, a seventh generation member of the Asprey family, the company creates and curates collections of the finest jewellery and timepieces, leather goods and silver and glassware as well as kit and tackle for elegant penmanship and gamesmanship. For more serious sport, William & Son also offers bespoke, handcrafted shotguns and its own line of perfectly cut but suitably sturdy country clothing. William & Son is dedicated to employing the highest quality craftsmanship and the most exemplary of materials, to tradition but also innovation, and most definitely to the charms of the unexpected. William & Son’s own collections are produced, wherever possible, by British craftsmen, many working exclusively for us. Our silverware and jewellery departments in particular are working with a new generation of artists, artisans and designer-makers, ensuring that traditional crafts not only survive but are re-invigorated. In our watches and pens departments, connoisseur brands are expertly mixed and matched to ensure that all tastes, whims and fancies are catered for. We also offer a bespoke service across our entire product range, from elegant engraving to customisation to one-off commissions.
