This riverside homestead on the banks of the Vaal River is the ideal place to relax. It provides an alcohol and noise free environment. It’s a pleasant weekend getaway only 100km from central Johannesburg. This retreat is a fishermen’s paradise with plenty of Yellow’s, Carp, Barbel, Muddies and Silvers. A small island and several rapids in the vicinity also make this an ideal spot for the fly fisherman. Accommodation can be booked for a family of four or have a family gathering for groups of thirty or more in privacy. Additional activities include canoeing, river rocking, snooker, table tennis, darts or indoor games for the entire family. There is separate activity area for the younger kids with a jungle gym, swings and other outdoor activities including a tree house with a suspended bridge with beautiful views of the river. A variety of birds can be seen in the serene surroundings for those who just love the peace and quiet of the outdoors. Take a walk to visit the farm animals and feed the doves from your hands.
