About Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services
When we opened the doors at our first location in Vancouver in 1981, our focus was on the construction industry. That focus allowed us to develop a strong reputation in the construction sector and helped us become an industry leader, specializing in construction insurance and surety bonding, in British Columbia. Our initial team was comprised of 8 people, who ventured out on their own to create their own brokerage. Over the last 40+ years, we have grown significantly. We have expanded across Canada, and now have offices in BC, Alberta and Ontario. While we still have strong roots in the construction industry, we have grown to support many different types of commercial and personal insurance niches and products. That original entrepreneurial spirit still carries through our organization today, and we now have more than 230 people under the WMB umbrella across Canada. Our team is composed of some of the best insurance professionals and support staff in the industry. Our motto, ‘We care. We help.’ is at the foundation of everything that we do. That mentality guides our day-to-day operations and our long-term vision.
