WSE is the joint top ranked English language school in the UK based on British Council inspection results. As the first school to have received strengths in all 15 areas, we really do deliver what we promise. Our school is the perfect choice for serious, motivated students who want to make fast progress. We offer a wide range of courses including General English, Business English, Legal English, IELTS preparation, FCE, CAE and CPE courses. The British Council described our teaching profile as excellent and our classrooms have the latest technology, meaning lessons are both challenging and enjoyable. We are in a beautiful Edwardian building with a large garden for students to relax and we are often told that it is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere makes WSE such a perfect place to study English. We have students of all ages from 16-85 and they come from 80+ different countries every year.
