About Windseeker

Windseeker facilitates transformative Sail Training voyages for young people (ages 15–25) on tall ships across Europe and beyond. We believe that life at sea is one of the most powerful ways to foster personal growth, responsibility, and teamwork. Sailing on a tall ship is more than an adventure – it's an immersive experience in experiential learning. Trainees take part in all aspects of ship life, from navigating and working sails to sharing night watches. Together, they learn to communicate, cooperate, and solve problems while living and working in close quarters – an ideal environment for developing essential life skills and making international friendships. Windseeker acts as a bridge between young people and the global tall ship fleet. We coordinate with ship operators, governments, sponsors, and educational partners to make these journeys affordable and accessible. We also support participants with practical preparation like bursary applications, packing tips, travel logistics, and more. Our team consists of experienced sailors and educators who understand the value of sail training first-hand.
