As a certified This Naked Mind coach, I work with individuals and small groups of professional people who are concerned about their relationship with alcohol. How do you know if this is right for you? Well..... Have you ever wondered 'am I an alcoholic?' Or promised yourself (or someone else) that you won't drink until the weekend? Or that you'll stop after two? But not kept that promise? Or woken up in the middle of the night panicking about what you said or did last night? Or woken up with unexplained bruises or a partner who is inexplicably angry with you? Or had absolutely no recollection of how you got home? Or had to change your plans because you were too hungover to make the most of the day? Or do you find that the urge to have a drink becomes almost irresistible as you get towards the end of the day? Or do you just feel that alcohol is messing with your relationships? If any of these apply, we should have a chat. I coach using Zoom, so you can be anywhere in the world. You don't need to have had a spectacular 'rock bottom' to benefit from rethinking your relationship with alcohol. I work with clients to help them regain control over what is, essentially, an addictive substance. Some clients go on to moderate their drinking, but most find that they simply no longer want to drink alcohol; that it becomes small and irrelevant in their lives; that they are looking at alcohol in their rear view mirror. This is a coaching method that is very different to AA. It doesn't blame the drinker and doesn't rely long-term on willpower, which, as you have probably found out, is a pretty finite resource.
