Four years ago, 3 French men met under unusual circumstances, yet all had one thing in common...they wanted to connect their witty passion for wine, their native French culture mixed with American experiences, and their salacious appetite for trying something new. They kept asking their selves “why” were they Bold enough to think they could make it happen...the simple answer...WineNot? WineNot is a US based forward-thinking wine company pairing a passion of French wine and food with American inspiration. The goal is to extend the origins of the traditional wine establishment with the new generation of wine lovers by demystifying the perceived complexity of wine. Inspired by the desire to simplify, WineNot has launched the Bô and Grand Bô wine line which invites the palette to enjoy a quality wine at a fair value. A little bit about the 3 French men founders: Boris Diaw was born and raised in Bordeaux, France where he developed an exquisite palette for food and wine. Known by many as BoBo, the first line of wine is named after him. And although he may be well known as a member of the French National Team, his NBA Championship win with the San Antonio Spurs and his current playing on the basketball court with the NBA Utah Jazz, he has a true passion for enjoying life with friends and wine. Jerome Serot was born and raised in Lyon, France. As a proverbial entrepreneur, he has traveled the world in pursuit of new opportunities and challenges. Living in the United States for the past 16 years, he has always had a desire to connect France with the Western World and a pursuit to start new businesses. Xavier Fleury was born and raised in Bordeaux, France where he is a fifth generation wine maker and producer. After six years in the US, he returned to Bordeaux in 2006 to lead the operations and management of his family’s wineries. He now exports with Winenot to continue a cherished tradition of sharing wine. Without him, there is no Bô wine.
