About WINGS Ministries: Freedom Through Transformation
WINGS mission is to help women discover and embrace their identity in Jesus Christ while equipping them with employment-readiness and life skills necessary to meet the challenges of life. Our volunteers serve in transitional living programs and lock-down facilities primarily in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. The women we serve may be struggling with addiction, have been or are currently incarcerated, are part of a court ordered rehabilitation program, may have been commercially sexually exploited, or may be victims of sex trafficking. Our classroom facilitators deliver a seven-module, eight-week course of work/life skills comprised of the following modules: 1. Change Your Thinking/Change Your Life 2. Becoming Job Ready 3. Avenues for Seeking Employment 4. How to Have a Great Job Interview 5. Money Matters 6. Human Trafficking Awareness 7. Living an Abundant Life (Two classes)
