Ebeling | Eye doctor extraordinaire - Passionate about helping people see exactly as they want and need - Small-town Iowa girl at heart Dr. Sarah grew up in a small town in Northeast Iowa. She graduated from the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2009. During her time there, she received clinical honors in every clinical rotation including pediatrics, contact lenses and ocular disease and was inducted into many academic honors societies. If you ask her, she’ll tell you her most educational experience during her time at ICO was a trip to El Salvador, where together with a team of optometrists and student doctors, she provided eye care and glasses to thousands of people who desperately needed it. After graduation, she moved to the Twin Cities with her Bloomington-native husband, James. They feel at home now in Chanhassen. She worked at Apple Valley Eye Care for over five years before opening Wink. Dr. Sarah has a strong interest and expertise in children’s vision, ocular disease, nutrition and challenging contact lens fits. When she’s not looking at someone’s eyes, Dr. Sarah is busy being a momma and wife to the three loves of her life. She can also make a mean cookie, whip up a delicious gluten free meal and decorate fancy cakes.
